About this event

Crown Heights bring their seven-piece reggae outfit to the Espy's Gershwin Room in St Kilda, with original tunes built around positive messages and a deep reggae groove.

Formed in Melbourne back in 2019, the band's a genuine melting pot, with members tracing roots to Jamaica, London, New Zealand, Brazil, Samoa and Sri Lanka. Co-founder Marvin Priest is the eldest son of Maxi Priest.

Between them the players have years of stages here and overseas under their belts, and links to names like Shaggy, UB40 and Katchafire. Thirty-three bucks, June night in St Kilda.
