About this event

A free and textural jazz night upstairs at Bar Open, on the Fitzroy end of Brunswick Street. Coco Browne is a Naarm-born pianist working in expansive, meditative territory, drawing on the likes of Andrea Keller and Vijay Iyer.

Her Quintet leads a triple bill, with Owen Wilkins' Quartet and The Pathfinders Sextet rounding out the lineup.

It's $18 for three ensembles in a small room on a Sunday. The kind of bill that's worth chasing down if you're into the city's improvising end.
