About this event

Brisbane's Chiffon Magnifique head south for their first Melbourne show, landing at Shotkickers on Thornbury's High Street strip. Jed A. Walters and Lyra bring songs from their 2024 debut Anxietika plus some unreleased material.

Expect post-punk, minimal wave and gothic rock with a theatrical bent — brooding one minute, built for the dancefloor the next.

Sharing the bill is Father Daddy, the self-appointed Archbishop of Queer Pop, working a mix of cabaret, camp and rock 'n' roll. A decent night out for anyone who likes their darkness with a bit of drama. Doors and set times via the venue.
