The Candlelight series lands at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Townsville City, with Paradiso Strings running a string quartet through the songbooks of Queen and The Beatles by candlelight.

Worth knowing up front: this is a tribute night. Neither Queen nor The Beatles are involved, and the show isn't affiliated with the artists or their estates.

The programme spans Here Comes the Sun and Yesterday through to Bohemian Rhapsody and We Will Rock You, arranged for strings. It runs about 60 minutes, doors 30 minutes before, and there's no entry once it starts. Seating is assigned first come, first served within each zone.
