About this event

Candlelight brings a string quartet by candlelight to St Peter's Cathedral in North Adelaide, working through the film scores of Joe Hisaishi. Expect the Studio Ghibli catalogue front and centre — Totoro, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo and more.

Worth being clear: this is a tribute programme performed by Amicus Strings, not Hisaishi himself, and it's not affiliated with the composer.

The set runs 60 minutes with doors 30 minutes prior. No entry once it kicks off, so leave time to find the North Adelaide cathedral.
