About this event

The Candlelight series lands at Perth Modern School's Beasley Hall in Subiaco, and this one turns the Studio Ghibli songbook over to a string quartet by candlelight. To be clear: it's a tribute programme, not Joe Hisaishi himself, and it isn't affiliated with the composer.

The Dolce Ensemble runs through the familiar stuff over 60 minutes, from My Neighbour Totoro and Spirited Away to Howl's Moving Castle and Kiki's Delivery Service.

Doors open half an hour before, and there's no entry once it starts. Seating is assigned per zone, first come first served.
