Candlelight brings a string quartet into Hobart Town Hall for an evening built around the film scores of Hans Zimmer, played by candlelight. Expect the big ones across a 65-minute set: Interstellar, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight and more.

Worth flagging clearly: this is a tribute programme performed by local outfit Strings on Fire. Zimmer himself isn't involved and the concert isn't affiliated with the artist.

Doors open 30 minutes early and there's no entry once it starts, so give yourself time to find a seat.
