About this event

Candlelight brings its by-now familiar format to Brisbane, this time setting up shop in the Sofitel Brisbane Central for a French-themed evening built around La Fete de la Musique. Expect a room lit by candles and a string quartet, Paradiso Strings, working through the set.

The programme leans pop and rock rather than strictly French: Bowie, Coldplay, Queen, both Celine Dion staples and a couple of Michael Jackson numbers, among others.

Worth knowing it's a tribute night, not affiliated with any of the named artists. Runs 65 minutes, with a glass of champagne and canapes on arrival.
