About this event

Brooke Russell and The Mean Reds resurface at ShopFront740 in Thornbury, marking their first single in nine years. The new track 'Sylvia' is a love song to Brooke's paternal grandmother, a woman she never met but who lived on through family stories and fading photo albums.

Recorded at Barbershop Studios out in Mollongghip, regional Victoria, it's produced by Joshua Barber, with Tamara Murphy on bass, Matt Dixon on guitar and Ben Franz on pedal steel.

Jess Parker plays support on the night. Doors and the rest of the details are with the venue.
