About this event

Bluegrass Parkway bring their take on the old-school stuff to Lyric's Underground in Maylands, a long way from the Appalachian roots of the genre but holding the line all the same.

The band sticks to the 1940s playbook: a single microphone, three and four-part harmonies, and material that runs from Monroe and the Stanley Brothers through to newer picking.

This show runs as GA1, so expect unreserved mixed seating with low chairs and high stools. A tidy Perth Sunday for anyone who likes their bluegrass done properly.
