About this event

Strings take over Old Government House on a Sunday morning, with the Hillbrook String Orchestra, Guitar Ensemble and String Quartet sharing the bill.

The programme leans on classical favourites and a few contemporary pieces, including Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5 and Vivaldi's Summer from The Four Seasons.

It's a daytime session in one of Brisbane City's heritage rooms rather than a Valley club night, so expect a more relaxed, attentive crowd as the ensembles work through the set.
