About this event

Bands in Parks brings its Blockarama day out to the Durack Bowls Club, a fair way south-west of Brisbane's usual gig spots. It's built around steel bands rather than the Valley's amp-stack circuit, so expect a different sort of noise.

The programme runs across the day with children's, school and community steel bands on the bill, plus a massed public steel band workshop if you fancy having a go yourself.

There's mask-making on offer too, making this one an easy family-friendly afternoon.
