Astral High are taking over Bar Open on Brunswick Street to mark the release of their third single, "Mended Hearts." It's the first track with second vocalist Julian Colantuono out front, leaning on early-2000s Brit-rock swagger and a contemporary local indie streak.

Paradise Valley and gesùnolike round out the bill for the night.

$17 gets you into one of Fitzroy's sticky-carpet rooms for a single launch that should pull the band's regulars. Doors and curfew per the venue.
