About this event

Opera Queensland brings back its unlikely crossover: country and opera on the same stage, with arias from Puccini and Verdi rubbing shoulders with Slim Dusty and Dolly Parton. A cast of young Australian singers tackle the hybrid bill across South Bank in September. Dress code is yours to call—jeans or ball gowns, both welcome. This is the company's third run and its most successful regional tour in four decades.
