About this event

Anastasia, the Broadway musical inspired by the films, makes its first Australian run at the Sydney Lyric in Pyrmont. It's the work of the Tony-winning team of Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty, Lynn Ahrens and Darko Tresnjak.

The story moves from the last days of Imperial Russia to 1920s Paris, following Anya as she chases the truth about her past — with a conman, an ex-aristocrat and a pursuing army officer along for the ride.

Expect the songs that have travelled with the show, including Journey to the Past and Once Upon a December. Running time is 2hrs 35mins with a 20-minute interval.
