About this event

Uh-oh! aftercare have bitten off their biggest bite yet, and we’re beyond excited to announce our upcoming Thursday night happening at Cactus Room. With much to chew through, you can expect an evening of Local, Contemporary Australian Soul, RnB, Pop and Jazz from some of the smoothest, grooviest, ooey-gooiest ensembles making noise in Naarm. We welcome sets from the slick and sultry sounds of @balaganblue, to the almost irrepressible momentum of a live-in-the-cut @soulutations_ before aftercare takes the stage. Three gut-busting local acts built for the live space, with their own unique sounds and original music for the cost of a pint of House Lager. Why not bring your mates, DM your dates, and pump on the brakes, as we tram North on High St to see what all the fuss it about!aftercare make music delivered with guts, a wink and a smile. Built upon rich instrumentation, vibrant grooves and intricate arrangements, their 2024 debut EP, 'Time Under Tension', is a plainspoken exploration o
