A night of friendship, love and music this valentine's night show on the 15th feb at Black Bear Lodge. Come for an array of diverse local Meanjin bands across various genres to fill your heart xxMargaret - Queer & femme fronted indie pop band, heaps of fun with a playful energy and instrumentation including synths and Gameboysmwah - Local No-wave three piece with a unique sound blending various influences. Listen to their recent release Sputnik for a taste of what they're like. lace angel - diy emo/skramz five piece with femme & diverse members, taking inspiration from melodic 90s emo and recent scenes. A sound defined by expressive guitars and layered vocals screaming, singing, and spoken word. Plainer - Gentle emotional music played by a band of many members. With an astounding range of instrumentation including strings, brass, guitars, expressive percussion, and vocals, Plainer puts on a captivating show that is so incredibly moving, heartfelt and genuine.
