About this event

The Avoca Beach Picture Theatre gets a 1941 makeover for this afternoon session, with Casablanca visuals up on the big screen while a full jazz orchestra runs through the big-band songbook.

Richelle 'Bootsie' Booth and Breanne Jayn front the bill, working through material from Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman and others.

It's pitched as an immersive Rick's Cafe setup rather than a standard gig, so expect the room dressed to match. A different sort of Sunday on the Central Coast.
