Bake Music is now in Melbourne, every second Friday (this time a Saturday) at the Bendigo Hotel. After 3 years of gigs in Brisbane the project has moved south but with the same grounded goal of providing affordable and community based gigs for nights of Music, Beers and Mates.GET ON DOWN TO THE SECOND EVENT IN THIS SERIES - SWAMPY/POST PUNK/SHOEGAZE LINEUPPhoenix Street draw influence from the creative wellsprings of poetry and philosophy as much as alternative rock and post-punk. Their live performance is literary and loud.Naarm/ Melbourne born post punk band Crashing The Same Car take their shoegaze full sounds to Bake Music’s Fortnightly Fridays @ The Bendi. Box Hill Norths three finest young men have been pouring a dangerous amount of blood sweet and love into new music to share with you (yes, specifically you!) Get some good use out of the free public transport and come down to the bendi to support local music
