About this song
- “NIGHTS LIKE THIS” is the eighth track from The Kid LAROI’s debut studio album, "THE FIRST TIME", released on November 10, 2023. Produced by Clams Casino, the track is one of the most atmospheric and emotionally raw moments on the project, blending ambient, spacey production with LAROI’s melodic vocal delivery. Originally previewed in September 2022, the song quickly gained attention from fans who resonated with its vulnerable lyrics and haunting energy. In 2024, “NIGHTS LIKE THIS” saw a massive resurgence thanks to TikTok, where a slowed version of the chorus went viral and was featured in countless emotional edits, late-night montages, and relatable videos. The trend helped reintroduce the track to a wider audience and solidified it as a sleeper hit from the album. Lyrically, the song dives into themes of loneliness, emotional burnout, and the emptiness of fame, describing those nights when everything looks perfect from the outside but feels completely hollow on the inside. It’s a moment of quiet reflection amid the louder, more energetic songs on THE FIRST TIME, and has been praised by fans for its honesty and mood. .
