About this song
- On “Nobody’s Home,” Brisbane born indie starlet Mallrat moves on from wanting to get “Groceries” and onto a slightly darker outlook on a unrequited crush. Featuring Sydney born producer Basenji, the song mixes the moody undertones of 2018’s "In The Sky" EP, and the quirky dance-pop stylings of 2016’s "Uninvited" debut, marking familiar yet interestingly new territory for her. The song was released days after the announcement of her “Nobody’s Home Tour” from which Basenji is one of her openers. .
