Blue Lightning is a sweet and playful track that depicts the feeling of finally getting over a past relationship. The lyrics are indecisive, going from finally finding clarity of mind, to wanting to go back to the past, to once again feeling indifferent. The chorus makes a good example, "Two-eyed lie, is it fight or fly?" The last line "Yeah, I wanna live forever 'til I die" is directly answering a line on the opening track "Would you live forever, never die?" .
