Adelaide's favourite beachside festival returns to Glenelg with Ocean Alley, Skegss, Babe Rainbow and The Grogans closing out the coastal tour in style.
There's something special about watching live music with sand between your toes and the ocean as your backdrop. SummerSalt 2026 delivers exactly that, and Adelaide's Glenelg Beach plays host to the grand finale.
Ocean Alley Headlines
The Northern Beaches legends Ocean Alley have been on an absolute tear since "Confidence" topped the Hottest 100 in 2018. Their hypnotic blend of psychedelic surf-rock and lazy grooves is perfectly suited to a beachside setting.
With their fifth album Love Balloon fresh in ears, expect new material alongside the sing-along classics.

Adelaide Lineup
The Glenelg show features a killer bill of Australia's best laid-back guitar bands:
- Skegss – Byron Bay slacker rock royalty. "L.S.D." and "Up In The Clouds" are certified anthems.
- Babe Rainbow – Cosmic country vibes from the Northern Rivers. Pure sunshine in musical form.
- The Grogans – Melbourne's finest purveyors of scuzzy garage rock (Adelaide exclusive – replacing Allah-Las on this leg).
- Mid Drift – Rising psych-rockers worth catching early.
- Le Shiv – Local Adelaide talent.
- Seaside – Appropriately named openers for a beach festival.
The Vibe
SummerSalt is the antithesis of your overwhelming mega-festival. It's a carefully curated single-day event that celebrates Australia's coastal culture and the guitar bands that soundtrack it. No schedule clashes, no FOMO – just good tunes and good times.
