The Atomic Top 20 — the verified weekly chart of independent Australian music — is now live on musick.com.au, with a full archive dating back to December 2023.

Australia's independent music scene just got a dedicated chart home.

We've partnered with Atomic Music to publish the Atomic Top 20 — the verified official chart of independent Australian music — right here on musick.com.au. Every week, the chart ranks the most engaged-with tracks on the Atomic platform, measured across streams, reposts, purchases, and tips. No major label influence. Just the best independent Aussie music, ranked by the people who actually listen to it.

The full archive is now live — 39 weeks of charts dating back to December 2023 — so you can browse every #1, track how artists have moved through the ranks, and discover acts you might have missed.

What makes this chart different

The Atomic Top 20 isn't curated by an editorial team or weighted by radio airplay. It's driven entirely by listener activity on the Atomic Music platform — a direct signal of what independent Australian music fans are actually engaging with week to week.

Current #1 (week ending April 26): Eema — Milky Way
