The rising country artist's new single 'The Rich Girl', produced by Quinn (Keith Urban, Shannon Noll), is out now — and she plays Jolene's in Sydney on August 14.
Australian country artist Bianca Joulianou has released 'The Rich Girl', a country-pop single about watching someone choose money and status over the real thing — and the quiet sting of feeling you'll never measure up.
"The song was written from a really honest place," Joulianou says. "I started thinking about those moments where you can't help but compare yourself to someone who seems to have everything, and the lyrics just flowed from there."
Building on 'Cowboy Casanova'
The single follows 'Cowboy Casanova', which landed on three Australian country airplay charts — #30 on the Tasmanian Oz CMR Country Airplay Chart, #34 on the CountryTown Hot 50 and #37 on the Country Songs Top 40.

'The Rich Girl' was produced by Quinn, whose credits include Keith Urban, Rachael Fahim and Shannon Noll. "Working with Quinn in the studio was such a fresh new experience," she says. "He brought a whole new perspective to the song that I hadn't thought of, and our ideas were just bouncing off each other throughout the whole session."
Off the stage
Away from music, Joulianou works as a mental health support worker, helping people reconnect with creativity in their everyday lives — the kind of honesty that carries through her songwriting.
Since arriving on the Australian country scene she's shared stages with Rachael Fahim, Shannon Noll, The Wolfe Brothers and Nathan Lamont.
