About this event

Melbourne Cup luncheon at The Wild Vine Cafe & Restaurant in Imbil, on Tuesday 3 November 2026. The $99 ticket covers a glass of bubbles, wine or soft drink on arrival, featuring wines from the Burge Family Wine Estate, then a chef's canapé selection, an alternate-drop main of crispy skin salmon niçoise or chargrilled eye fillet, and a dessert of house crème brûlée or pavlova.

Live music from vocalist Victoria King runs through the day, with a fashions-off-the-field element for those who want to dress up for the occasion.

It's a relaxed way to mark the Cup with good food and a bit of race day flair, well worth booking early.
