Melbourne Jazz Identiity, acclaimed pianist Steve Sedergreen has a commanding presence in Australian jazz:a musician whose playing can ignite a room with hard-swinging energy, thenpivot without warning into something intimate, spacious and luminous. With over four decades of contribution to Melbourne’s jazz culture, Sedergreen is known for performances that feel bothdeeply grounded in tradition and unmistakably alive in the moment.Steve will be joined on stage by local musicians Brian Manning (guitar), Phil Waldron (upright bass), Greg Jansen (drums) & vocalist Matt Holt. This is sure to be a thrilling set of jazz!
