About this event

A devotional kirtan evening to mark Diwali, with chanting that builds through the night at The Ashram in Mount Eliza on Sunday 8 November 2026.

Proceeds go to the Arunachala Animal Sanctuary in South India, so the night doubles as a fundraiser for animal welfare as well as a celebration of the festival of lights.

It's an easygoing, community-minded night out for anyone curious about kirtan or wanting a quiet, uplifting way to mark Diwali on the Peninsula.
