About this event

Mixtape Fridays plants itself in the middle of Surfers Paradise, where Retro's leans into the throwback club night with a DJ crew running 90s and 00s pop all evening. Doors at 8pm, $12 in, fishbowl cocktails optional.

Expect the floor-fillers you half-forgot: Britney, Spice Girls, Destiny's Child, Kylie, Daft Punk and a long line of party staples. None of those artists are in the building, mind you. This is a DJ-led night, not a live set.

A July Friday on the Gold Coast strip, built for dancing rather than standing still.
