When Hanako temporarily loses her memory, she uncovers her mother's lies—an attempt to rewrite the past and salvage their broken relationship. The short film explores the complicated family dynamics that emerge in Japanese immigrant households in Australia. Screening at The Old Bar on 20 September, with proceeds going toward the film.
