About this event

Woody Guthrie cut through the American mid-west like few others—a truth-telling voice from the Oklahoma Plains who watched the Dust Bowl scatter his neighbours west. This is an elegy for the folk legend who traded the mid-west for California in the 1930s and became one of America's most vital poet-singers, a man whose work still matters.
