About this event

Bands in Parks is back at Old Government House on George Street, with Echoes and Landscapes bringing a free afternoon of plucked-string music to the lawns. The set honours Australian mandolin and guitar composers who helped shape the country's ensemble tradition.

At the centre of the program is the work of Robert Schulz, alongside pieces by Robert Kay and Duncan Gardiner. Their compositions lean on ideas of landscape and community, which suits the historic grounds well.

Entry is free, so it's an easy one to wander into if you're in the city centre.
