About this event

Clogging is an American folk dance born in the Southern Appalachian Mountains, blending step dances from the British Isles, Native American traditions, and African American solo dancing. It landed in Australia in the 1980s and there are clubs running around the country now. The double-taps on clogging shoes create the rhythm while the heel keeps time—but you don't need proper shoes to start. This session at the Fifty Plus Centre covers basics through to easy-intermediate level.
