About this event

The Birdsville Races pull punters into Australia's outback for two days of serious racing and three nights of live entertainment. With $330,000 in prize money and a 13-race program headlined by the famous Birdsville Cup, it's where trainers and jockeys from across the country compete on the red dune. Beyond the track: live music at the Birdsville Hotel, Fashions on the Field, food vendors, and the RFDS Gala. Over 6000 people make the trek each year.
