Wake Me Up When Spring Begins - A Coastie Rock Fest

Wake Me Up When Spring Begins is a one-night Central Coast rock show at Wamberal Surf Club, pitched as "a Coastie rock fest" to see winter out. The 2026 event runs Friday 28 August from 6pm, with a five-act local bill: Australian Idiot, NECKO, Ace on Fire, Stripparo and NarliYarn. It is a modest surf-club gig rather than a major festival — the sort of homegrown lineup night the Coast's beachfront clubs put on for their own crowd.
