Spilt Milk 2026

Sat 12 Dec 2026 – Sun 20 Dec 2026 · Canberra, Gold Coast, Ballarat, Perth

About Spilt Milk

Spilt Milk is a single-day touring festival aimed squarely at the pop, hip-hop and dance end of the market, born in Canberra in 2016 and now one of the biggest touring festivals in the country. Promoted by Kicks Entertainment — bought by Live Nation-owned Secret Sounds in 2022 — it runs a December circuit each year. In 2026 that means Exhibition Park in Canberra (12 December), Gold Coast Sports Precinct (13 December), a new home at Kardinia Park in Geelong (19 December) and Claremont Showground in Perth (20 December), with Lewis Capaldi, RAYE and Baby Keem topping the bill.

History

Spilt Milk launched in Canberra in 2016 — DMA'S played that first edition — and expanded to the Gold Coast and Ballarat in 2019, then Perth in 2023.

The 2020 and 2021 editions were lost to COVID restrictions, and the 2024 festival was pulled too, with organisers citing rising costs and soft ticket sales. It roared back in 2025, selling out the Ballarat, Canberra and Gold Coast dates.

For 2026 the festival left Ballarat after six years for Kardinia Park in Geelong, a move locked in for at least five years with backing from Visit Victoria and the City of Greater Geelong.

Notable Moments

Spilt Milk sat out 2024 entirely — a mid-festival-crisis cancellation attributed to costs and fluctuating ticket sales — then returned in 2025 with multiple sold-out dates, one of the clearer recoveries among Australia's big touring festivals.

The 2026 lineup carries Australian-exclusive festival appearances from Lewis Capaldi and RAYE, plus Baby Keem, Remi Wolf, KETTAMA and DMA'S — the latter's first Spilt Milk since the inaugural 2016 show.
